Well howdy everyone!!! Now how Texan does that sound? :O) You know how it goes..when in Rome… ;O)
After MUCH persuasion I decided to try this out so I can cut back on emailing….not that I dont love you all!!! But I could probably spend all day writing people and never catch up… :O)
So far Texas is pretty great. I’ve almost come to the conclusion (be warned….some of you are going to think this is heresy!!!) that in the wintertime this could be called God’s country…but I’m pretty sure that Alaska will keep that title for the summer months. :O) It’s been beautiful just about every day down here….we haven’t had much rain this winter so everything is pretty dried up, there have been a lot of fires lately, but I can’t exactly complain about 75 degree weather in January now can I? It was in the forties on Sunday and I was just about to start whining when I realized that it was forty BELOW up there…kind of put things in perspective for me. ;O) So really…there’s always something to be thankful for!!!
Okay people…I’m going to TRY to add a few pictures from the wedding. I’m a little bit computer challenged so it may not work….we shall see what we shall see!!!!
Welcome friends!!!

It is so good to hear from you! I love the pictures especially of the little ones. I hope you update often….or I’ll have to harass you some more :OP
Well Bek, I was a little saddened to see you say all that good stuff about Texas, but then if you have to live there you may as well think positive! Glad to see you started this blog.
Hi Bek! I love your blog! It is a perfect idea, and works great for not having to email as much!
The pictures are really fun! I miss our lunches together… Don’t worry, your not missing much here! It was -35 in N.Pole this morning! But we are praying for warmer weather to go to snowboarding at birch on Sunday afternoon. We can wish can’t we?!?! Have fun, Tori
Hey Bek, you’ll be a computer wiz pertty quick. Good to hear everything is going fine down there. You’ll have to post your pictures from Mexico when you get them. Say hi to Jeremy. Maa Salaama
Hi, Rebekah, what a great idea setting up this site; I hope you can add to it often. The only time I ever spent in Texas was in Army basic training in Ft. Bliss near El Paso, not the worst place I’ve ever been but… I do envy the warm temps. you have, the older I get the tougher winter is for me. Oh, well it won’t be forever, the best is yet to come!! JRG
Thanks for sharing the pictures. They are all so good. I hope that all goes well for you and Jeremy. We have been in the 50’s and 60’s here in Nebraska in January. I am so happy for you. Glad I got to see some pictures of your wedding.
Love,
Aunt Pam
