I know, my posting has been lame/non-existent lately.
I just can’t seem to get my act together.
Actually…I think the problem is that I DO have my act together (somewhat) this year.
My goal of having all my extended family gifts out by the first of December is almost met (fingers crossed!), this Thanksgiving was as close to stress-free as possible, and my next few weeks are all scheduled.
But I kinda forgot to pencil in some blogging time.
So I’ll just have to squeeze it in where I can.
While I’m trying to get my act together here’s a yummy chai tea recipe that’s perfect for gifting….or sipping on a cold day. We don’t know anything about cold days down here, though. {pout}
CHAI TEA
(found here)
1 cup vanilla sugar**
3/4 cup non-fat dry milk powder
3/4 cup unsweetened instant tea
3/4 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 cardamom
1/2 tsp nutmeg
**For vanilla sugar, just mix 1 cup sugar with 1 tsp vanilla and spread on wax paper to dry completely for several hours.
Mix all the ingredients together, then grind up in a food processor or blender into a fine powder. Don’t worry, even my stupid blender did the job.
Then put it in a cute jar, add a tag (which I obviously still haven’t done), and give it away.
Or keep it all for yourself.
Whatev.
Add 3-4 tsp. to 1 cup of hot water.
And make sure you use a pretty cup.

Yeah, the weather is terrible. Suffering through these unbearable, sunny, 70 degree days.
Torture, plain and simple.
Looks so yummy. I have never had chi tea before.
I ADORE chai tea.
