This recipe was passed down to me from my sis-in-law, Jenn.
It’s probably a Lambert family recipe; they’ve introduced a lot of ridiculously good foods to me over the years.

It’s been a few years since I’ve whipped up a batch of these bad boys, because Susannah doesn’t like coconut and Jeremy claims they’re too sweet.
But guess what – they both ate their weight in them this year, so I guess maybe they’re not as bad as they thought. ;)

Coconut Bonbons

1/2 cup butter
1 cup pecans
1 large pkg coconut
2 lb powdered sugar
1 can sweetened, condensed milk
1 pkg chocolate chips
1/4 block paraffin wax

Melt the butter and pour over the nuts.
Add the milk and coconut and mix well.
Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until well combined.
Form balls, place on waxed paper and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
When they’re chilled, melt the chocolate and wax together over low heat and dip the balls in it, one by one, coating completely.
Place on wax paper and allow to harden.
