I made a few of these little poms for the table at Madeline’s owl party last week.
They’re festive and cute, and only take a minute to whip up.
Layer 4 pieces of tissue paper (9″x12″), alternating colors.

Fold over, lengthwise, and make even cuts along the unfolded side, leaving about 1/2 inch uncut.


Holding the uncut edge, fold lengthwise, twisting the end, and secure with tape.

Fluff the pom and display in small vases/cups.

I’ve never thought to make mini poms with tissue paper this way. I’ve made them this way with jersey to make flowers but this is cute for small decorations. I like how you did the bunting on your table.
I hope I remember this for future reference!
